Can you speak with a clear conscience before God?

24:16 Acts “So I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man.” (NIV)

Paul was now before Felix who had authority in the region for Rome. The lawyer for the high priests made many accusations which were made up against Paul. When it was Paul’s turn to speak, he set the facts straight. Their timeline was wrong. They had no provable evidence. He had not started any arguments or disruptions. He could say those things because they were all true... before men and before God. That’s a reminder to all of us. Tell the truth... then we only have to recall one version... the one that is true. May others see your honesty and integrity and may you give God all the glory and honor for it and so much more.

Let your testimony and His truth show clearly in your comments as you send along this message and verse those you know and love. Ask if they feel that they have a clear conscience about everything in their lives. If not, what one thing seems to come to mind that they need to confess or release. See what they are willing to share with you. We know that Satan likes to bring to our minds those things that we have done wrong in our lives... even if they are forgiven, he wants to rub them into our faces again. We KNOW that when God forgives, those sins are gone forever... as it says in Psalm 103:12 “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” (NIV) So, you can Take Time for God’s Word© regularly and as you see people speaking words of truth. Set this verse as a Reminder on your phone at any time you want but copy in the whole verse and reference to 24:16. (There is no 24-hour time to link it to). Set it to chime on Saturdays when you may have a bit more time to think about new verses. It’s simple to say. Easy to remember. Hard to do effectively always (at least for most of us). Yet, that is what we are called to do and to be. Start with a humble heart and a willing spirit and then do what He has asked of you. He is there with you all the way. He will not leave you nor will He fail you... ever!

We sincerely pray for all the nursing homes and assisted living centers along with their staff and their residents. It is NOT where most people want to go as they age, or as medical conditions may restrict their lives. Yet, it is a blessed place where our friends or relatives can receive the care and support that they need. Be sure to reach out to those in those places. Call them. Text them. Email them. Visit them. Let them know that they are special and loved by you and by others. Then, stay blessed in everything that you do for Him. Pass it on to others in ways that gives you a clear conscience about the message and the motives for sharing His love to people who may be un-loveable by others.
