Follow the will of His Spirit in you!

Ezekiel 37:14 “I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken, and I have done it, declares the LORD.’” (NIV)

Ezekiel watched the dry bones come to life. Bone upon bone; tendons and muscle; skin and features...all put back together by God. Ezekiel commanded the breath to fill their lungs just as God had told him. They became alive once again...the dry bones of Israel were resurrected and given new life. Then God put His Spirit in them so that they could really live a life in Him...the best life possible. That is what we should strive for each day... to live with His Spirit guiding us to serve Him and to love others as we live out our own best possible life now...and forever.

Bless others as you extend the reach of this message to touch the lives of many others. Ask what place they call ‘home’. Ask if that is their current home...a past residence they like to think of as home...or where they were born. See which answer they give you. We have been told that ‘home is where the heart is’...and that is somewhat true. The verse that explains it for me is Luke 12:34 “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (ESV) What we treasure the most should be our relationship with God and staying in close contact with Him through prayer. It is as simple as 1-2-3-4 (12:34 Luke). Always Take Time for God’s Word© day-after-day and as you think about the people and the place that you call home. Take a photo of this verse card and store it in the album of Favorite Verses on your phone. It will be easy for you to then send this as an attachment to emails or texts to friends and family. Tell them about what ‘home’ means to you and let them know that they are a big part of that feeling of ‘home’. Share the Luke 12:34 passage as well. It is easy to recall...but sometimes hard to fully live that way. Keep at it. It will all be worth it in the end...along with a LOT of blessings and joys along the way!

Each month we pray for social organizations that promote the good for all people. We continue to mention and to pray for all the blood banks and organizations which coordinate blood drives in your community. What a great mission. What an awesome blessing they are to those in need of that life-saving blood. PLEASE consider donating...soon! The shortages still exist...and there are critically low supplies in many areas of the country. It is about 30 minutes of your time to donate. It is life-giving to those who receive it. God Bless you for doing that!!! Continue to stay blessed as you live for Him. Pass it on to those who go through life as dry bones...never having the Spirit within them... and you can help change that as you can give them the Good News of Jesus Christ.
