Jesus is the Bread of Life!

11:03 Luke “Give us each day our daily bread.” (NIV)

Jesus gave just seven words to describe how we are to pray for ALL that we need. Simple words. Simple needs. ‘Give us each day our daily bread.’ We need it each day. Without it, we would die. We are not to stockpile it or to hoard it. We are to ask for just enough for one more day. Then, we will need to depend upon Him again tomorrow… and tomorrow… until forever. For SO MANY, this has new meaning as they wait for food from Food Pantries or Food Banks. They NEVER expected to have such needs. We are grateful that there are so MANY people willing and able to give to those in need. Say an extra prayer of thanks for them!

PLEASE forward this verse to those who have great needs right now…(and that is ALL of us). Ask them if they have enough food to feed their families in this time of pandemic. Ask them if they have enough extra food to feed those in need. Listen to their responses. Remind them that as we pause for our meals that we are to also pause to give thanks for the daily food that we receive. If you need to receive food from the various charities, then you know NOT to take it for granted. Just as we are not to take Him for granted as we study His Word. Please Take Time For God’s Word© often each day or as you pray at mealtime or at 11:03 am or pm. Add this verse to the Reminder on your phone with the other verses in the Lord’s Prayer. While this is an easy one to remember, it is one we often forget. We get busy. We focus on what we /b>want to eat… or where we want to eat… or how much we want to eat. Millions of people around the world only hope that they can eat something… soon. As you have been blessed, please help to bless others with their ‘daily bread’. Give Him thanks… always and in all ways!

Our thoughts and prayers reach out to all the judges, staff, and participants in our judicial system. It is even more critical now that courts are not is session and that things are being done remotely. We need to support our legal processes during this time of pandemic so that we are able to administer justice and fairness to all those impacted. Support them. Let them know that you are praying for them. Do your part and participate as a juror when those are being called again. Stay blessed to be a blessing to those seeking justice. Pass it on to those who need spiritual daily bread as much as they need physical daily bread… help them to find both!
