Who is this man called Jesus???

8:25 Luke “Where is your faith?" he asked his disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another, "Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.“ (NIV)

Jesus reminds the disciples to have faith in Him. They are now wondering who He is…really. He can tell the wind and waves to cease AND they obey Him. Is that how you act at times? You put boundaries or limitations on what you think that God can do. You then see His great power and you are surprised at what He can do. He is the creator… He can do it ALL! And, His love is so deep that Christ died for us… so we can be with Him forever. There are no limits on what God can do… don’t let your faith be limited to your own thinking. Just imagine what He can do… and He can do it… and so much MORE!

Please provide this verse to someone who needs their faith restored. Ask if they thought the whole world would be at war… with an invisible enemy… the COVID-19 virus. Ask if they thought economies and countries would ALL shut down within a matter of weeks. This is beyond what anyone could have imagined. We are living it day-by-day. We are seeing great acts of love and selflessness. We are seeing people caring for others. We are experiencing church in a ‘digital world’. We cannot also imagine all that will change next as a result of this virus. Yet, the love of God never changes. Do Take Time For God’s Word© often each day or as you see our new heroes in action or at 8:25 am or pm. This verse card could be printed and carried in your pocket or purse. It asks a great question, “Where is your faith?” It is one we need to consider each day with each new changes that we face. Do we STILL think that God will see us through this? YES!! No matter what the change and how often we ask it, God does not change… He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is our solid rock even when our world begins to shift around us. Hold on to your faith and hold dear all those that you love. Make this a time of growing in faith and growing in love for Him.

Please continue your prayers for all the Christian schools and preschools around our country. They are affected the same way as our public schools… they are closed due to the pandemic. Pray that the teachers, faculty, parents and children are continuing to keep their focus on all that Christ has done and will do again. Let them know that you care. Tell them that you are praying for them. Be an encourager to them. Stay well. Stay blessed in all that you do. Pass it on to those who need faith in something that will last… and His Word lasts forever!
