How strong is your faith?

7:50 Luke “Jesus said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace."“ (NIV)

Jesus touched the lives of so many people in His short time on earth. He focused on their specific needs. He gave them His attention. He met their needs. He forgave their sins. He healed their bodies and their souls. He still does that for us today. We will never know all the wonderful miracles that are going on all around us. Yet, we still need to thank Him and praise Him for all of them. Only then can we know His peace in our lives. Thank you, Lord Jesus!

Please offer this verse of healing and hope to those who may need it. Ask them how big or how strong is their faith in this time of crisis and pandemic. Ask them what they are doing to strengthen their faith each day. Remind them about the many blessings they have received up to this point in their lives. Share with them some of your favorite verses of comfort and hope. For many, it is a time of great uncertainty… jobs… health… economy… food shortages…etc. They need to know that God is with them through it all. He will not leave them or forsake them. Others are opening their hearts and are donating greatly to care for the needs of those who are struggling. THANK YOU! You are a blessing. Now, Take Time For God’s Word© daily or as you see needs around you or 7:50 am or pm. This is a verse card that you may want to print out and put by your bedside. You will see it in the morning when you rise, and in the evening before you go to sleep. It speaks the words of Jesus, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” Faith in Him… only Him. Peace because you know that He can do all things… He loves you… He watches over you… He is there now… He will be there forever. That is the kind of reassurance that we need in this moment in time. He is with us… forever!!

Our prayers extend to all those organizations that go into a crisis situation to offer help and hope to those in need. We especially think of the Red Cross (Washington, DC) for the many, many teams of people around the world who make a huge difference for those recovering from disaster and devastation from fires, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, and so much more. In this pandemic, please consider donating blood to the Red Cross as there is a shortage right now. If you are able, please help in this way. You are blessed to be a blessing. Pass it on to those who do not yet know Jesus as their Savior and their Friend for this life… and beyond!
