Follow His wisdom and His ways!

7:35 Luke “God's wisdom, however, is shown to be true by all who accept it.“ (GNT)

Jesus came to reach those who would acknowledge that they needed a Savior. He showed His miracles to the poor, the sick, and the needy. Because He spent time with sinners, the Pharisees felt that He could not be their Messiah… at least not the Messiah that they were hoping for. Too often we try to fit God into our ideas about what God should be or should do. Instead, let us all try to let God be God, and then we should do what He has called for us to do. Love one another! Try it!

Please give this verse to friends far and near. Ask who shows the greatest wisdom in our world today. Ask if they follow that wisdom or if they would rather trust their own ways of thinking. Pay attention to how they respond. It is hard to know which steps will produce the best results to ease or to end this pandemic. It is unprecedented… so there are no good patterns or models to follow. Yet, in life, we have a great model to follow after… the life of Jesus. He showed us how to live. He taught us how to love. Now, Take Time For God’s Word© each day or as you hear wise advice or 7:35 am or pm. You may want to set this verse on your phone as a Reminder at 7:35 am with the title, “God’s wisdom…is shown to be true…” You can copy the whole verse into the note so that it is easy to recall. When it rings at that time, see if you can remember the verse by the number. Over time, it will become easier until the point that when you see that number, the verse will pop into your mind. Let that be a trigger to seek the wisdom of God in all your daily duties and responsibilities. We should always seek to do His will. We should look for opportunities to serve Him by loving others. We should stop to give Him thanks and praise often for all He has done for us. Let the reminder of time help you to think often about the love of God… for YOU!

We start each monthly prayer cycle list with all those women and men that serve across all branches in our military. We frequently see the National Guard on the news in various roles in combating the COVID-19 pandemic. We see hospital ships serving patients on the East and West coasts. What a great blessing to have them assisting in this way. Keep them in your prayers always. Let them know that you appreciate their service… as often as you can. Stay blessed where you are. Be a blessing wherever you go. Pass it on to a world that too often misses the wisdom of God and follows after the folly of the world.
