How strong is your faith?

7:07 Luke “That is why I did not even consider myself worthy to come to you. But say the word, and my servant will be healed.” (NIV)

Jewish leaders approached Jesus for a favor… an unusual one. They asked Him to come to heal the servant of a Roman Centurion. They said he was a friend of the people. Jesus went with them. Yet, before He got there, the Roman soldier met Jesus and said that he was not worthy for Jesus to come into his home… rather, he KNEW that Jesus could heal the servant… just by saying the word. Do you have that kind of faith? Do you trust Jesus in ALL areas of your life? We can all learn a lesson from a Roman Centurion… who knew? Go and do the same!

Please pass on this verse to family and close friends. Ask if they would have had the faith of the Centurion. Ask what prevents them from having such faith even now. We have all asked big things of Jesus… sometimes often every day. We don’t see answers to all those requests. It is not that God does not hear us… or love us… or see the sincerity in our hearts. Yet, He is still God and He is in control. He still provides what is best… not just for us but for all people. Keep trusting. Keep thanking Him. Always Take Time For God’s Word© often each day or as you see those who are sick or at 7:07 am or pm. Put 7:07 pm in your phone… if it is not there all ready. Another great verse at 7:07 is in Matthew, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (NIV) We are often reminded throughout the Bible about our need to stay in frequent (even constant) in prayer. We too often seek God’s help as a ‘last resort’ rather than as a ‘first priority’. He knows what’s on our hearts. Yet, He wants to stay in close fellowship with us. That should be our goal as well. So, at 7:07 morning or evening, use it as just one more opportunity to pray. Then see how God will choose to bless you according to His plan. Be a blessing!!

We pray each month for the many social charities and organizations that address the common good in our communities and in our country. We are seeing MANY of them spring into action now during the COVID-19 pandemic. They operate at local, county, state, and federal levels. If you can help in any of them, please consider it. Then let the love of Jesus show through your words and your deeds to show His love in action. Stay blessed to be a blessing. Pass it on to others as you continue to grow in faith and as you keep praying for His will to be done… always!
