Be fruitful for Him!

6:43 Luke “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit.” (NIV)

Jesus spoke about finding a speck in other’s eye when we have a log in our own. It is often easy to see the faults in others but blind to our own faults. He reinforced this by describing the fact that “good trees do not bear bad fruit”. We are to be careful in our comments and criticisms of others. Instead, we are to make sure that we bear good fruit and that we share that good fruit with others. So, bloom where you are planted and be fruitful in your efforts to share the Good News.

Please send along this verse to anyone who is ‘sheltering-in-place’. Ask if they had fruit trees in their yards when growing up. Ask if they recall eating fresh fruits from the tree. People are watching you. They want to see if your actions in life are consistent with the words you may use about knowing and loving Jesus. Those actions are the fruit of our lives. We need to make sure that we are living well for Him. Bear good fruit! Always Take Time For God’s Word© each day or as you see fresh fruit or at 6:43 am or pm. Set this verse as a Reminder on your phone. Put it at 6:43 pm with the title, “No good tree bears bad fruit.” When it rings, look for opportunity to share the Good News with others. There are MANY who still do not know Him as savior and friend. Choose your words and actions carefully as you represent the love of Jesus to the world.

With all the ‘social-distancing’ and ‘shelter-in-place’ orders, we need to offer up added prayers for family and friends that we may not have seen as regularly as before. Many medial professionals are staying separate from family to avoid transferring the COVID-19 virus. They are making sacrifices for the protection of their loved ones. Please keep those you know in your prayers each day. Let them know that you pray for them. Stay home. Save lives. Stay blessed. Pass it on to others through the good fruit that you bear for others.
