Jesus just spoke the Word and the demons fled. People were amazed at His power and authority. They saw the miracles. They knew it was true. They told many others. Word spread… quickly. This was something ‘new’. It was unlike what they had seen before. It is still true. It is still amazing. It is still available to everyone… let them know the Good News… today!
Please give this verse to those who need to hear it (i.e. everybody you know). Ask if they ever imagined a scenario that the world would shut down like it is today. Ask if they ever thought we would do this during peace time. Listen to their answers and concerns. Even as we hear about more people dying and being infected, we are also hearing about great acts of love and compassion. We have a common enemy in the COVID-19 virus and we ALL are united against it. It is causing many to put their faith in God. Continue your prayers for healing and restoration. Then, Take Time For God’s Word© often each day or as you hear about the rate of spread for the virus or at 4:37 am or pm. You may want to save this verse in your Action Items on your phone. Set it for 4:37 pm and copy the full verse into the title. When it rings or vibrates on your phone, consider what you are doing today to help spread the Good News to others. It can be sharing these verses with family and friends. It may be inviting others to the online church services by sending the link. It may be through getting them groceries or medicine. When you show that kind of love and compassion, people will want to know more. Give them Good News!
Our prayers extend to all the global mission organizations like World Vision (Federal Way, WA). They continue to reach some of the poorest children around the world. They give food, clothes, education, training, water, and so much more. You can sponsor a child in any of their mission sites. You can make a difference in their lives. You can see them grow and mature. If you are able, be that blessing to one of these poor children… make a difference… even into eternity. Stay well! Stay blessed. Pass it on as you spread His love and grace to so many others who need hope in this time of fear and uncertainty.
