Let His Word be fulfilled in you!

1:38 Luke “"I am the Lord's servant," Mary answered. "May your word to me be fulfilled." Then the angel left her." (NIV)

If we knew all that would happen in our future, we would be terrified. We would focus on the bad or sad things. They would cause us worry or to fear or to panic. God knows that. That is why we get life just one day at a time… with the promise that He will be with us each-and-every-day. Turn it over to Him… then trust that He will see you through it all… AND He will. Mary trusted that what the angel told her was God’s plan. She submitted to be a servant to God… no matter what happened next. We need that kind of faith. We need a servant’s heart as we follow God each day. You will be greatly blessed, I am sure!!

We ask that you route this verse to family and close friends. Ask if they worry or even dread the future when they are asked to give a public speech or to sing in public. Ask why that is so worrisome. Hear their responses. If we panic over just one event like that, imagine how paralyzed we would feel if we could foresee all the phases of our futures. It would overwhelm us. So, let us be glad that God only gives us just one day at a time. We can only live in the present time. We can’t fix yesterday, and we can’t change tomorrow. Put your complete trust in Him and give Him thanks for ALL that He is planning for you… it will be good! Remember to Take Time For God’s Word© throughout the day or as you see someone being of service to others and at 1:38 am or pm. We often think that being a servant is a lowly task or occupation. We need to remind ourselves that Jesus came ‘to serve and not to be served’. If it was good enough for Him… then we should be grateful that He would entrust us to serve others. It is a simple statement, “I am the Lord’s servant”… but it is powerful what He can accomplish through each of us when we respond as Mary did. Be His willing servant today and see what incredible blessings that He has in store for you!

Please lift up in your prayers for all the seminaries and facilities for training up the next generations of pastors, ministers, and missionaries. What a great calling. What a great way to pursue being a servant of the Lord. We need MANY more young people to seek such training and advanced learning. So many churches are closing as their current pastors are retiring. We need more faithful leaders who will take up the calling and the challenges of serving God’s people through His churches and fellowship groups. Encourage those who are enrolled and studying for such service. Let them know that you pray for them. Be a blessing to them as they will be to you and others when they are serving in that role. Pass it onto many others by showing them that you have the heart of a servant and that you have the love of Christ to share with them.
