God will not fail you…

1:37 Luke “For no word from God will ever fail." (NIV)

Just as the angel Gabriel had spoken to Zechariah about the son that would be born unto he and Elizabeth, the angel also came and spoke to Mary about her role in God’s plan. The promised Messiah was to come into the world as a baby, born to a virgin as the prophet Isaiah had foretold it. The promises of God to His people would ALL come true… but in ways they could not even imagine. His Word is still true. His plans are still hard for us to understand. Yet, His love still reaches those who were lost and saves those who were spiritually dead. What amazing love! What a great love story! What Good News to share with a world in such great need!

Please extend this verse to all the people you know on social media. Ask if they recall how God chose to tell Mary about the plans that He had for her. Ask if they recall her question to the angel about this plan. Listen to their replies. It seems that angel’s first words are, ‘Do not be afraid’… so they must be pretty impressive to see and amazing to have speaking to you. Mary had a large role in God’s plan. He knew her heart and He knew her faith. When you trust in God completely, He can do some phenomenal things through even simple people like you and like me. That is His message. He will NOT fail us because His Word is always true. That is the message that we share with others… God’s Word will not fail. Then, we need to Take Time For God’s Word© throughout the day or as you hear the name Mary and at 1:37 am or pm. You may have heard the question, “What great thing would you do, if you knew you could not fail?” While for us, it is a bold question because we do know that in our own strength and will, that we can fail. Yet, we also know that no promise or plan made by God will EVER fail. That is why we can have such great faith, even in the darkest times. We do not know HOW God will accomplish His plans, but we do know that His plans will not fail. This would be a wonderful Reminder to put on your phone at 1:37 pm with the whole verse as the title. We often need to be reminded of just how great and awesome our God is. Now you know. Act accordingly. Live fully in His love!

Our prayers continue for all the Christians as faculty, staff, or students across all the public colleges and universities in our country. For many young people, the liberal ideas, views, values, and pressures cause them to drift away from faith. They give in to peer pressure. They give in to temptations. They give up on spending time in devotions and in prayer. They accept a world’s view of God… rather than God’s view of the world. We need to support our youth in college. We need to encourage them to keep their faith. We need to ask God’s extra care and keeping for those still weak in their faith. Our world needs to hear and to see the love of God now more than ever. We need to be a blessing to those being challenged in their faith. Stay blessed through it all. Pass it on to overcome the doubters and the detractors of faith by stating that “…no word from God will ever fail”.
