Wait upon the Lord…patiently!

9:19 Daniel “Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act! For your sake, my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name.“ (NIV)

Daniel has been waiting in captivity for many years already. He wants to go back to Jerusalem in Israel. He wants to be returned to his own land. He wants God to hear him… and to forgive His people… and to ACT! Too often we pray for actions (just what we asked for) when God wants us to have patience and trust for His timing and His plans and actions. Waiting takes faith. Waiting produces greater trust. Waiting allows us to experience the preparations that we NEED before God can fully deliver ALL that He has planned for us. We can pray for action, but we must yield to His timing and His plans for our situation and our lives. It will be GREAT!!

Please send this verse to any of your friends who may be a bit impatient with God. Ask if they get their Christmas presents immediately when they ask for them. Ask if they expect birthday presents on their birthday. Remind them that there is a time/ place for receiving things. God knows our needs MORE that we even can know them. He will provide. He will not leave us. He will care for us all along the way. Stay close to Him through His Word. Take Time For God’s Word© daily or as you feel impatient for His answers and at 9:19 am or pm. Save a photo of this verse card. You can view it later… print it… share it… and so much more. Whatever you do with it, please think of the 3 primary actions…listen, forgive, act. God will do ALL of that and MORE. Stay true to Him. He can do more that we could ever ask or imagine!

We ask you to pray for all the nursing homes and assisted living facilities in our country. There are so many people who need this type of help and support as they are aging or recovering from other medical incidents. Pray for the patients/ residents, the staff, and the families of those who are staying there. Reach out to those you know… visit, text, call, email, or whatever you can do to help encourage and support those in need. We are called to be His love to those who may be in this situation. Stay blessed and be a blessing to them. Pass it on to all those who may be desperate for God to hear them and to act to help them!
