May God hear our prayers…soon!

9:04 Daniel “I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed: "Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments,“ (NIV)

God showed Daniel the distant future. It was hard to comprehend. Daniel also saw that the people needed to repent of their sins before God would return them to rebuild Jerusalem. It was Daniel that poured out earnest prayers of repentance to God. God heard and He forgave the people. We need to make confession part of our regular prayers as well. Turn over ALL of your sins to Him… then be set free from sin to serve Him with joy and gladness.

Please offer this reminder to friends everywhere that need to confess their sins to God. Ask if they take the time to confess their sins and to ask for forgiveness. Ask if they know that God loves a contrite and repentant heart. Help them to see that we need to be restored to our relationship with Him… and that means getting rid of ALL sins that hold us back. Know that He will forgive. Know that He will give us a fresh start. Know that He is waiting for us to ask for that forgiveness. Then please Take Time For God’s Word© each day or as you see the word ‘repent’ and at 9:04 am or pm. Please print out this verse card (and make extra copies to share with others). It reminds us that God keeps His covenants with us. It reminds us that we need to repent. We need to turn our attention back to God. We need to help others to return to the ways that God has planned for us. If we do that… He is faithful. He will forgive. He will restore. He will allow us to rebuild our lives on His firm foundation. Start with confession… it is good for the soul and great for building a stronger fellowship with Him!

Our prayers now uplift all the Sunday Schools teachers Bible Study leaders in our churches and fellowship groups. If you have ever served I such a role (or are still serving there today)… THANK YOU!! We know what an added responsibility that is. We know the time it takes to do it well. We know the added love that you give every time you stand up before a class to share the love of Jesus. You are a great blessing to pass on His love to kids (and adults) of all ages who want to study the Bible more fully. You are a blessing. Continue to be that blessing. Pass it on to the next generation and to those that follow after that… that His love may be given to ALL people… everywhere!
