He will humble the prideful people…

4:37 Daniel “Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.“ (NIV)

King Nebuchadnezzar had a second dream that Daniel interpreted. The King had become too proud of his own accomplishments. He gave no credit to God. So, God removed him from his throne and he wandered like an animal for a period of time. When Nebuchadnezzar finally looked up to heaven and acknowledged the goodness and greatness of God, he was restored to his throne. Because of his pride, he was humbled. Do let pride sneak into your life, too? Give God ALL the praise, honor, and glory for what you have and for what you have become. Walk humbly with your God… and He will exalt you.

Let them know that even a great king of Babylon finally needed to be brought low so that he would acknowledge God and the blessings which God had given to him. We should frequently stop to give God the thanks and praise due His name for what He has done for us. Be that friend. Help others to walk humbly with God.

We again pray for all the police, fire protection teams, emergency personnel, etc. in our communities. These brave men and women serve us around the clock. They are there when we need them. They risk their safety to make sure that we are safe. They respond quickly and professionally. Let them know that you pray for them. Tell them THANK YOU for the services which they perform. Be a blessing to them whenever you can be. Stay blessed in all that you do. Pass it on by walking humbly with God and by sharing His love to all that you meet each day.
