The disciples saw Jesus go up into heaven. They knew it was time to get up and to go and do what He had commanded them. They saw great miracles happen when they spoke in the Name of Jesus. He showed them the signs that He was still with them. They spoke with power. They healed. They were protected. We need to continue that great commission to all those who still do not yet know Him. Whether near or far, there are many who need YOU to be His witness of love and grace. You can do it… He is with you always!
Click ‘Like’ on this post and please click ‘Share’ to give this to friends everywhere. Ask if they have had anyone share the Gospel with them within the past year. Ask if they recall the last time when someone told them about the love of Jesus. Too often, we think that someone else has told them about Jesus. It is OK to tell them again. Sometimes it takes 4, 6, 12 times in hearing the Good News before a person is ready to receive it. Don’t give up… keep sharing. They will be eternally glad that you did. Then Take Time For God’s Word© often each day or as you hear the Good News and at 16:20 (4:20 pm). This is the last verse in Mark’s Gospel. You may want to set it as Reminder at 4:20 pm on Mondays. Copy in the verse or just a title like “16:20 Mark Then the disciples…preached everywhere.” It will be a great way to be motivated to share the Good News. It will remind you that His Spirit is with you always. It will give you new courage to share again what Jesus has done for you. It will help you to continue the work of the Lord… until He comes again!
Each month we remember in our prayers all the foster care organizations and families. We pray that God will open our hearts to these foster kids who just want to be part of a loving family. They want stability. They want a fresh start. They need to see the love of Christ reaching out to them through others. Support those organizations. Support those families. Be a foster parent if that is possible. You WILL be a great blessing to a child who prays for a new family every day. Pass it on to people everywhere you go and watch the wonders that He has planned for you!
