Make the unbelievable become faith in Him!

16:11 Mark “When they heard that Jesus was alive and that she had seen him, they did not believe it." (NIV)

Jesus is alive. Mary had seen Him. It was true. Jesus did conquer death. She thought the others would be excited with this news. She was wrong. They did not believe her. It sounded too good to be true… it still does sound too good to be true to many people. We must persist in telling the story of the resurrection. Sins are forgiven. New life has begun. We can know Him personally. Let your faith increase as you grow in your love for Him!

Please pass along this verse to friends and co-workers in His kingdom. Ask if they would have heard the news from Mary, would they have accepted it and believed it. Ask if they would have needed to see the empty tomb before they would believe. Share with them your reactions as well. That is our faith… believing what we cannot see. Yet, we know that His promises can never fail. Take courage as you Take Time For God’s Word© during the day or as you think about the Good News and at 16:11 (4:11 pm). This verse may be a motivator for you in sharing the Gospel with others. You will get rejected. Not everyone wants to believe. Just as the disciples found Mary’s account of seeing Jesus to be unbelievable, we may have people that still doubt. Share with them His Word of promise and of salvation. Let them see Jesus working in you!

Our prayers continue for all the many staff and administrators that are in our schools… superintendents, principals, assistants, cooks, bus drivers, custodians, coaches, etc. Each has a role in making the schools work effectively. Each has an impact on the students either directly or indirectly by the services which they provide. Share your thanks to them for their service. Be the blessing that you were meant to be. Pass it on persistently to those who struggle to believe the unbelievable love of Jesus.
