Fight against false statements about Jesus…

14:56 Mark. “Many testified falsely against him, but their statements did not agree." (NIV)

Jesus was brought before all the religious leaders in the cover of darkness. They looked for charges to bring against Him. Their stories did not agree. They could find nothing to charge against Him. They tried to find something…anything that they could use. Finally, they settled on blasphemy… He claimed to be God. What they felt was His biggest mistake was in fact His true nature. People still have trouble believing in Jesus because then they would need to acknowledge their sins. They would rather hide in darkness than to live in the light of His love. Show them the light.

Please give this verse to family, friends, and co-workers in His kingdom. Ask if they have ever heard false statements being made about them. Ask how that made them feel towards those who made such statements. Share with them how Jesus handled it. Let them know that He willingly took on our sins to set us free from those sins… free forever from the burden of sin. Now we can live freely in His love. Next, Take Time For God’s Word© daily or as you see people making false statements and at 14:56 (2:56 pm). Take a photo of this verse card to keep on your phone. Put it with other Favorite Verses. Being open and honest with God is one of those key truths. Speak His truth to others, too!

We extend our prayers to all the Christians across the public colleges and universities in our country. We pray for the students, faculty, staff, and all of those associated with those institutions. Many Christians encounter their most direct and persistent persecution while in college. People rebel against their parent’s beliefs. They think they don’t need God. They think they can handle life on their own. Soon they find that they can’t make it on their own… yet, they struggle to admit it and to return to Jesus. Help them. Be there for them. Let them know that you pray for them. It will be a great blessing for them. Pass it on to all of those who may be falsely speaking of Jesus… show them His love…always!
