Share the Good News…everywhere!

13:10 Mark “And the gospel must first be preached to all nations.“ (NIV)

Jesus tells the disciples about the signs that the end is near. We see some of those same signs today… nations rise against nations… earthquakes, fires, floods… persecution… so are we in ‘end times’? There is no question that the end is nearer now… and it is getting nearer all the time. It means that we don’t have time to waste. We are called to have the Gospel preached to ALL the nations. We have the means to do that NOW! The Internet reaches BILLIONS of people. This post could be sent and re-sent and sent again to reach millions of people if we are just willing to share it. YouTube videos… podcasts… blogs… etc. are all means to help to get the Gospel message to ALL Nations. We all have a part in this mission. We can start where we are… and just keep sharing. Pass it on… until the whole world has heard the Good News!

Please give this verse to friends everywhere! Ask if they ever share funny pictures or sayings with their friends. Ask if they would ever share a Bible verse or Christian story. Listen to ho they respond. It is amazing that we so quickly and easily share things that are silly or of no real value YET we think that we are imposing if we share the greatest Good News ever. The love of Jesus is the only thing that will last forever… it is the best thing worth sharing. Always Take Time For God’s Word© during each day or as you see any international news and at 13:10 (1:10 pm). Recall this verse and thank God for the opportunity to share the Good News with others. Set an Alarm on your phone for 1:10 pm with the title, “13:10 Mark… And the gospel must first be preached to all nations.” It is a short verse. It is a powerful message. It is a daily challenge. It is a mission for all of us. It starts with a question, a comment, a helpful act, a positive affirmation… anything that gets attention. Then let His love show in and through you. Pass on a verse… a bookmark… a tract… a New Testament… something to let them know that they have great value in the kingdom of God. I have often said that ‘it is not the value of the gift…it is the value that you place on that person to give them a gift’. Be that gift to them today.

Our prayers today extend to all the police, firefighters, and emergency personnel who risk their lives to ensure that we are protected and safe. Take a minute or two to let them know how much you appreciate them. At one of our local restaurants, local police would often stop in for lunch. I would give the restaurant manager $20 or $30 and ask to pay for the officer’s lunch …but to do so anonymously. It was a small thing. Yet, it spoke volumes to them that they were greatly appreciated. Let them know that you pray for them. They need to hear that from you. Continue to be a blessing wherever God has placed you. Pass it on in word and in deed as you share the Good News with the world… until He comes again!
