Who then can be saved?

10:27 Mark “Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God."“ (NIV)

The disciples were stunned. If the rich can’t make it into heaven… what chance do the rest of us have. Jesus clarified that salvation was NOT something that mankind could do on their own. That was only possible through what God could do. They did not know that they would be witnesses to the plan for salvation through Jesus Christ on the cross. They thought that they could protect Jesus from the Pharisees. They still did not understand what Jesus needed to do for our sins. We do know. We know that He paid it ALL on the cross. Best gift ever! It fits everyone who trusts fully in Him. Don’t miss out. Don’t let friends and family miss this gift. Be that blessing to them… share His love!

Please give one more gift to everyone that you know. Ask what they feel is possible for them to accomplish in the new year. Ask if they can do it all themselves or if they feel they will need some help. Listen to how they answer. We need to remind them that no matter how good or talented they are, they need help from God. They need Him to take away their sins. They need His forgiveness. They always need His love. They can have it ALL through faith in Jesus Christ. It is a simple step…yet, one of the hardest for many people to take. Keep trying. Keep praying. Always Take Time For God’s Word© during each day and as you see things that are impossible or at 10:27 am or pm then as you consider this verse and the blessings God has given and planned for you. This may be another verse card to print out to share with family and friends. It is easy to hand one to them and ask, “Have you ever heard this verse before?”. Then, hand them a copy of it (for either answer). Let them know why it is meaningful to you. Let them know how it may be helpful to them. Let them know they can see more verses and blogs on the Facebook page or the website Take Time For God’s Word. Let them know that you pray for them… now and into 2020. If they want to get a fresh start… have them begin with Jesus. All things will be new in Him!

We continue our prayers for all the other staff and administration personnel in our schools… principals, nurses, librarians, music teachers, art instructors, PE staff, bus drivers, cooks, etc. All are important to making the schools work. All have key roles to play in helping to educate our kids and grandkids. Be sure to let them know how much you appreciate their efforts and results. Let them know that you support them. Our kids and grandkids will need to adapt to many changes in our world as they grow older. We need them to be well educated… well prepared… and we need to do our part to get them ready. Volunteer if you are able. It is inspiring to be around so many young people. Stay blessed in being a blessing. Pass it on KNOWING that with God ALL things are possible… trust Him to see you through!
