The disciples tried and failed. A boy possessed with a demon would not be cast out by them. Jesus is disappointed by their lack of faith. The boy’s father asks Jesus to help…’if’ He can. Jesus responds. It is a BOLD statement. He knows it… AND He is the only one who can back it up. Don’t let the ‘IF’ in life cast doubts on what God is able to do… even through you!

Ask how their life would change when they remove ‘if’ from their responses. Let them know that God’s promises are for those who believe. It takes our commitment, but the return is truly ‘out-of-this-world’. So, Take Time For God’s Word© day or night as you hear the word ‘IF’ or at 9:23 am or pm as you recall this verse and the promise of Jesus. Print out this verse card (with extra copies to share). Whenever someone begins to use the word ‘IF’ in a way that shows their lack of commitment, pass along one if these verse cards. Remind them that we can accomplish great things when we are not looking for a way out of doing them. Seek the power of God as you commit to serving Him… wherever He chooses to send you. Then be prepared to GO when He calls on you!
Please continue your prayers for the youth pastors and youth leaders at our churches. It seems that each year, the meaning of Christmas gets pushed further away by secular ads and promotions. We need to make sure that our youth hears the true meaning of Christmas from our ministers and leaders. We continue to battle for the hearts and souls of our youth with each generation. Encourage these ministers. Support them. Help where you are able. Stay blessed where God has placed you. Pass it on to show that with God… all things are possible to those who believe!
