How will you be healed?

5:34 Mark “He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering."” (NIV)

Jesus is called to go to a sick child who is dying. Along the way, a woman with a LONG illness (12 years) tries to get close to Jesus. She wants to just touch His garments… that’s all she needs to be healed. She touches Him…she is healed… He knows that power has left Him. She states to Him why she did it. Jesus responds with our verse. Faith is a powerful thing. It drives us to take actions. It gives us hope. It turns hope into healing. It did for this woman. She had great faith. How is your faith? Keep it strong by staying close to His Word.

Please pass along this verse to family and friends who need a boost in their faith. Ask if they ever believed something wholeheartedly. Ask how that faith impacted them and people around them. Share with them examples of faith on your part and the results of that faith. May your faith produce the same results as the woman in our verse. Then, Take Time For God’s Word© each day and as you see people exercise their faith,… or at 5:34 pm as you may remember this verse and the healing miracles of Jesus. This woman could wait no longer. She took action. Her belief in Him was so strong that she didn’t need a word or a task or His touch on her. She only needed to reach out and to touch Him. Are you willing to do the same? Do you reach out to Jesus? Do you have deep faith in Him? Try it today and each day. His kindness will strengthen your faith and will give you a healing as well.

As we are approaching one-third of the way through the school year, we continue to pray for all the teachers, aides, social workers, etc. in our schools. What an influence they have on our children and grandchildren. They encourage, explain, excite, explore, etc. as they teach in the classroom. With it comes great responsibility as well. Support them. Encourage them. If you are (or were) a teacher, THANK YOU!! I am sure we did not say it enough when we were students (or even as parents). Be the great blessing that you can be to these students. Pass it on by being an example of the love of Jesus and by showing His grace to all that you serve.
