Leprosy was (and is) a terrible disease. In Jesus day, those with leprosy were not allowed near other people. They were outcasts. They were isolated. They had no hope… until Jesus came. Jesus touched them. He healed them. He restored them to society. He can do the same for us today. Ask Him for His tender touch in your life.
Please provide this verse to friends and family. Ask them if they have ever prayed for healing. Ask them how they prayed and what were the results of their prayers. Remind them that God’s delays may have a purpose for us and for those around us. Encourage them to trust God’s timing and His plans. Offer to pray with them and for them. Then trust the will of God to handle that issue. Continue to Take Time For God’s Word© as you see those who need healing or at 1:41 pm and consider this verse and how Jesus healed those with leprosy. I have printed verses in many places… on the refrigerator, on bulletin boards, in pockets, etc. Whenever I pass by those places, I see the verses and recall the blessings which they offer when I read them again. We are at the end of our monthly prayer cycle (again… where does the time go?). We remember in prayer that one person that you know who desperately needs to have Jesus in their life. It may be a family member, a friend, or someone else that you know. Lift them up in prayer today. Ask God to touch their heart. Ask Him to use you in sharing the Good News. Pray for them regularly. Tell them that you are praying for them. That shows just how much you care for them. Let His love shine through your actions towards them. They need to see His love in action. Be that blessing. Pass it on by reaching out to touch others with the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
