People are ALWAYS watching us (so you are not being paranoid). They want to see what’s so different about being a Christian. They want to see if we live up to our beliefs. They want to see if we put our good deeds into our actions. AND, that is good. It gives us a chance to let His light shine through us. It gives us a chance to show humility in how we serve others… all to God’s glory. So, be wise in how you live. Live an honorable life… you are called to be a child of God. Talk to your Father in heaven often and thank Him for ALL that He has done.
Copy this blog or this link to pass this verse along to family, friends, and co-workers in His kingdom. Ask if they see many ‘good examples’ of Christians living out what they believe. Ask how they show that and if it is with humility. Let them know what things you try to do to let His love show through you and that He should get all the glory. See if there are other ways that you have not thought of yet. Share examples. Pray for one another. Be a light in your neighborhood. Then, Take Time For God’s Word© often each day and at 3:13 am/ pm or whenever you see Christian love in action, recall this verse. If you can, schedule an appointment in the Calendar app on your phone on a Tuesday at 3:13pm with the title, ‘living an honorable life…James 3:13’. When it pops up, you can take a minute to reread the whole verse as you can copy it into the ‘purpose’ or ‘description’ for the appointment. Others may ask, what kind of meeting starts at 3:13pm… and you can tell them (after all, they asked). Just make it a short explanation. Offer to send them the link. Follow-up with them later to see if they were able to use the link to this page. That’s what friends do for each other… they share with each other things that are important… and this is eternally important!
Our prayers now extend to all the Christian schools and pre-schools around the country AND around the world. We often forget that there are many countries which have very large Christian populations. Those parents want the best for their kids and grandkids, just like we do here in the USA. They value Christian education. They sacrifice to send their children to schools where they can learn more about God and what He has done for them. Support these types of schools. Donate if you are able. Volunteer to help if you can. Encourage the parents and students at these schools. They are part of the next generations of Christians in our world. Stay blessed by being a blessing.
