Some people think the only reward for being a Christian is that we are going to heaven. We get rewarded through His blessings every single day…and, yes, we are going to heaven. Don’t miss out on these ‘everyday’ blessings. They come to us as we hear (and read) His Word AND as we go about doing what it tells us to do. It is as simple as that… AND, from my experiences, it is TOTALLY worth it!! When I see all that I am blessed to have and to enjoy, I cannot help but to want to share it with others… then I am blessed again in the giving. How great is that! That is to be doubly-blessed… and we are! Thank you, Lord!!!
PLEASE give this verse to friends on social media and on your email list. Ask if they have ever felt that they were blessed to have the things that they have. Ask if they ever feel that they should share with others those same blessings. Listen to how they respond. Let them know that God gives generously to those who ask and who follow in His Word. He wants us to have a full and complete life. He wants us to know that He provides for His people. He wants us to know that He loves us… AND, He does! Tell them the full Good News. Please Take Time For God’s Word© often each day and at 1:25 am/ pm or as you feel blessed, then recall our verse and continue to do His will. I am a visual person. I like to see these verses as Reminders on my phone and as printed reminders around my house. Consider printing out this verse card to put on your refrigerator. You will see it often, I am sure. It will remind your to do what you have heard from His Word. AND, it will remind you that you are BLESSED! What a great feeling that is…and it becomes even greater when you can share those blessings with others! Know that Luke 6:38 works wonders…(“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.“)
At the end of each prayer cycle (about 30 days), we focus our prayers on that one person in your life that you know who NEEDS Jesus in their life. It may be a family member, a friend, a co-worker, or someone else that you know who definitely needs Jesus. Pray for them. Pray that God will work through you or others to help them to see the love of Jesus. Tell that person that you pray for them. Let them know how much they mean to you. Let them know that you only want the very best for them… and Jesus is the very best friend that they will ever have. Be that blessing to them. Pass it on by doing what His Word says to do…tell others the Good News!
