John gives us a new definition for love. It starts way back at the beginning. God loved us…first. We were always in His plan. He knew that only He could provide a plan of salvation for us. And, He did. He sent Jesus. Jesus paid the price for our sins. Through His love for us on the cross, we have our redemption. It is a free gift to us… but it was a high price to pay for Christ. When you think of love…remember His everlasting love for you!
PLEASE distribute this verse to all of your friends on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Ask them to give you the name of a person or an example of the greatest act of love, ever. Ask what makes it so meaningful to them. Then let them know about Jesus love for us. We have salvation through His name. He is with us always through His Holy Spirit. Let them know His story. Continue to Take Time For God’s Word© daily and at 4:10 am/ pm. When you hear someone say that they ‘love’ something, then remember this verse and know that God loved you first. Another great way to recall some of our verses is to make them the ‘passwords’ for your various applications. You can type the numbers and a few words to help recall them… for example, this verse could be 1John410thisislove! That way, every time you log into that application on your computer or your phone, you will recall this verse. If you use other verses for other applications, you will have a whole Bible study of great verses while using your technology and devices. You can add special characters at the beginning or ending to add uniqueness to the password. Try it out. His Word will always be close at hand when you use it this way. Stay blessed!
Our focused prayers go out to all the Christian colleges and universities around the world. These are places of higher education which also teach about the highest power in the universe…the power of God through Christ. We need this message to be shared to all generations across all people on earth. Their mission and ministry through education is powerful… yet, there are disruptors and attackers on all sides. Support these schools. Let them know that you are praying for them. Be that blessing to the faculty and students. Pass it on so that God’s love reaches ALL who need to hear it and to know the Good News of salvation.
