Put love into action…

4:08 1 John “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." (NIV)

God is love. It is a simple sentence. It is a powerful truth. It is how others can see His love through the love which we put into our words and into our actions. Some have put the question this way…’If you were put on trial for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?’ It makes you think about your actions. It makes you think about what others see us doing in our lives. It makes you understand that we need to put love into action in ALL that we do and say. Start now. Show His love through your life… forever!

Would you please forward this verse to friends and family wherever they are. Ask if they show love to others each day. Ask how they express that love and if they see it given in return as well. Pay attention to what they describe. Share with them the ways that you try to show love to others. Remind them of the great love which God has shown to us. Then, Take Time For God’s Word© often each day and at 4:08 am/ pm and when you hear the word ‘love’ said, then think of this verse and know you are loved by God. You can print out this verse card and put it on your desk or on your refrigerator. It just takes a glance at it to remind you of the verse. We ALL can use a few extra reminders about love and loving each other. As we often say, “bring it to mind, take it to heart”. Be love to others today!

We offer up our prayers for all of the doctors, nurses, PA’s, lab technicians, etc. who provide for our health and healing. So many of them do it as a passion to care for people in pain and who need help and wellness. Many also share their skills through community clinics or on medical missions trips each year. Tell them that you appreciate their service. Let them know that you are praying for them. Be that blessing to them as they work to bless others who need their care. Pass it on to all that you meet by sharing His love!
