What in the world is more important than God? It is a common question. Often, we just get caught up in worldly things and worldly possessions. We start drifting from God and we don’t even notice the terrible trade-offs that we have been making. Stop! Adjust your priorities. Keep God at the top of the list. Otherwise, your choices take the place of God. Keep your focus on God!
PLEASE give this verse to your friends on social media and on your email lists. Ask if there is anything in this world more important than God. Ask what makes it so attractive and appealing to them. Listen closely to how they answer the question. Share with them your love for God and why He is first in your life. Let them know that you pray for them. They need to know that you truly care for them. Then, Take Time For God’s Word(c) at 2:15 am or pm and as you see things in this world that are appealing, then think of this verse and thank God for His unending love for you. You may want to save this verse card to your phone by taking a picture of it. Store it in the album called Favorite Verses. Scroll through those photos from time-to-time. There should be a number of favorite and key verses there for you to read and review. Each time you see them and say them, it helps to build a stronger connection to their meaning in your life. It is time well spent! Read them out loud if you are able. It helps to hear them read.
We pray for all of the early responder organizations and charities which head into harm’s way to help those in need. We think of the Red Cross and others who have volunteers on stand-by to move into areas which have just experienced hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, fires, and so much more. We know that many are getting ready to help those impacted by Hurricane Dorian right now. Support them. Help them where you can. Be a blessing to them in their time of need. Pass it on through your love for Him and as He works through your life with His love.
