He can make a world of difference…

2:02 1 John “He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world." (NIV)

God provided for us a path to salvation. It is not something that we can buy. It is not something that we can earn. It is not something that we can inherit from parents. It is a gift. It is a free gift from God. It was His Son, Jesus, who was sacrificed on the cross to pay the price of our sin. AND, he paid the price for ALL sin for ALL people for ALL time. Now that is Good News! You would think the world would pay more attention to it. Keep sharing it with everyone you know!

Copy this blog or the link to this page to forward this verse to family, friends, and neighbors. Ask if they feel that there is any good news in the News today. Ask why bad news travels fast but the Good News seems to travel slowly. Let them know why you like to share the Good News about Jesus. Let them know that it is for ALL people and with the Internet and cellular devices, we are able to share it with nearly ALL people… instantly. So what is stopping us? Remember to Take Time For God’s Word(c) at 2:02 am or pm and as you hear any ‘world news’, then recall this verse and that Jesus paid for the sins of the whole world. If you print out this verse card, put it under a magnet on your refrigerator. You and your whole family with see it often each day (if you are like our family). We would never think of missing a meal…we should also not miss reading (and remembering) God’s Word. It is a reminder that His love is intended for everyone. We need to find ways to get His message out to others. Send friends the link to this Page or to www.taketimeforgodsword.com so they see new verses everyday. Thanks!

We end our monthly prayer cycle list by asking you to focus prayers on that one person you know who REALLY needs Jesus in their life. It may be a family member, a friend, a colleague, or someone else that you have encountered who is searching for what Jesus has to offer. Tell them that you are praying for them. Ask what you can do to help them. Show them how much they mean to you. Don’t give up on them… God will never give up on them either. Be that blessing to them. Pass it on knowing that the love of Christ is there for them whenever they finally seek Him. They will be eternally grateful that you prayed for them!
