He forgives and cleanses us from sin!

1:09 1 John “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (NIV)

This is a hard verse for MANY people… not hard to read…not hard to understand…VERY hard to do. People (all of us) don’t like to admit to our sins. We want them hidden. We want them private. Some, we may even want to hang on to just a little while longer. Yet, when we confess… when we finally truly acknowledge our sins, God will then forgive those sins and wash them away. Jesus death and resurrection paid the price. What’s holding you back from making that confession this day? Be forgiven and be set free from sins. It will be a beautiful day to live for Him!

PLEASE send this verse to ALL of your friends …everywhere! Ask if they have ever had to confess to doing something wrong in their life. Ask how they felt before the confession and how they felt afterwards. Listen carefully to their response and their emotions. Confession is hard to do. Confession is great to have done. It means that you no longer need to carry that guilt or shame or fear any longer. It is in the hands of God. He can handle it. He can forgive it. Ask now! Continue to Take Time For God’s Word(c) at 1:09 am or pm OR as you seek forgiveness from any sin, then remember verses 1:08 and 1:09. Add this verse to the Alarm on your phone which you set yesterday. As you re-read these verses, you can KNOW that whatever we confess…He will forgive. God cannot give forgiveness if there are sins that we still hang on to. He wants them ALL… so turn them over to Him. He promises His forgiveness. He then puts them behind Him…He will remember them no more. We should also learn to put them behind us. He has great plans in front of us. Keep your focus there. Enjoy every day as you walk with Him…forgiven and restored by His grace!

We lift up in prayers all of those who are part of our prison and detention system… prisoners, guards, staff, families of prisoners, families of victims. They need our prayers. They need our support. We need to show that His love still reaches them. We know that there is a lot of forgiveness needed. Be there to help the families through their pains and recovery processes. Help where you can. There are many prison ministries. Support them. Pass it on knowing His forgiveness and the freedom that it brings to you! Stay blessed in ALL that you do!
