A fellowship is a group of people who have shared interests and objectives. A fellowship of believers share the same faith in the Bible and in the love of Jesus Christ. It tries to show the unity of what we believe so that we can support and uphold one another in our faith. It also includes having that close personal relationship with God through Christ. It means that we are growing in faith each day. Don’t miss a single day of that fellowship with Him!
PLEASE send along this verse to friends… both long-time friends and those whom you have just recently met. Ask what is the longest running fellowship which they have in their life. Ask what keeps that so meaningful and tightly connected. Listen carefully to their responses. Tell them about the fellowship that you have with God through Christ. Let them know about the fellowship which you may have through your church or a Christian fellowship group. Invite them to join you some day soon. There is always room for one more! As you are taking our money or credit cards, be reminded of your fellowship with God and your fellowship with other Christians. Say a prayer for THANKS for both! We are SO BLESSED and we don’t always thank God for those blessings. Take a moment now to do so. You will be glad that you did!!
Our prayers go out to all of the Christian led charities whose heart touches tens of thousands of people every day. We pray for Lutheran World Relief (Baltimore, MD) and their quick response to people in their time of crisis. They bring the love of Christ to every situation and they show that love to people in some of the worst situations possible. Help to support them or similar organizations in your area. Volunteer if you are able. It will change your outlook and you will see things with new eyes and a new perspective. Be that blessing to others. Pass it on to grow the fellowship of believers and to introduce more people to the saving grace of Jesus Christ!
