If you have influence, use it well!

112:09 Psalm “They share freely and give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. They will have influence and honor.” (NLT)

You have influence…probably much more than you realize. As a consumer, as a citizen, as a voter, and as a Christian you can exert your influence in a positive and productive manner. First, you need to know what you truly and deeply believe so that you can support it with your whole heart. Then you need to let others know what you support and why that is so important to you. Ask them to help share that message. You will be surprised at who will help if you just ASK! Then, use that influence or recognition to bring glory to God. Be blessed in helping others to know Him as Lord and Savior.

PLEASE pass along this verse to fellow believers and co-workers in His kingdom. Ask them where they feel that they have the most influence upon others. Ask how they maintain or support that influence over time. Listen to their responses and ideas…they may help you, too. Share with them the importance of using our voices and influence to help others to hear and to see what God has done for them. We cannot keep silent…there are lives at stake…lives that need the hope of eternity with Jesus. We have no time to waste. Then continue to Take Time For God’s Word© throughout the day and when you see people using their influence for a cause, then think of this verse as “112:09” and seek God’s help in directing and expanding your influence for His kingdom and His glory. This may be a good Reminder to set on your phone at 2:09pm with the title of “PS 112:09 They share freely and give generously…” That lead in may be enough for you to recall the remainder of the verse. If not, then copy the whole verse into the Reminder so that you see it all and can recall the impact that you can have when you fully trust in Him. Go for it…share freely…have influence and honor…all for His glory!

We pray for all of the seminaries and places for training up the clergy and missionaries as they prepare for lives of ministry and service to others. There are SO MANY areas of need and so few new pastors or ministers entering the full-time ministry. Use your influence to guide people to consider this calling. Support them. Encourage them along the way. Stay blessed in ALL that you do. Pass it on freely and generously to those in need.
