Are you secure with no fear?

112:08 Psalm “Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear; in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.” (NIV)

If you listen to the world news and political news, there is little to feel secure about from day to day. We are to focus on the Good News of the Gospel as we can feel very secure and we can dispel all fear when we trust in the love of God. We know that there will be battles in our lives. Things aren’t perfect. We still sin and miss the mark of His plans for us. Yet, we KNOW that He will win in the end and that we are chosen to be with Him always.

Please give this verse to family and friends who need encouragement. Ask how secure is their home…or investments… or job…and how does that make them feel. Ask if they have fear of the future. Listen to their responses and take that into account as you share the Good News with them. Help them to see that when we trust God, then the fear departs. Always, Take Time For God’s Word© each day and whenever you see people living in fear. Then, recall this verse as “112:08” and look forward to that day of triumph in Him. You may want to print out this verse card and put it in your purse, wallet, or pocket. Whenever you are getting money or credit cards, you will see this verse. It will be an encouragement. It will give you confidence. It will help to put things into perspective. It will be a blessing to you and it may be a blessing to others if you share it with them. Live fearlessly for Him!

Also, include in your prayers the Christians across all of our colleges and universities. College life and liberal standards can be a real challenge and temptation for those who follow Jesus. They are pressured. They are taunted. They are rejected. They often don’t fit into the social activities of those around them. That is GOOD! That means they are standing for truth found in Christ. Encourage them. Support them. Help them where you can. Stay blessed to be a blessing. Pass it on with secure hearts and a fearless passion for those who need to know Jesus in their lives!
