Good comes to those who are generous…

112:05 Psalm “Good comes to those who lend money generously and conduct their business fairly.” (NLT)

God is good all the time…we know that. It is evident that as we follow after the heart of God, that good comes to us. When we are generous and conduct our business and lives fairly, it shows. It attracts others who want to do business or associate with us. We demonstrate the love of Jesus when we are treating others how He would treat them. You are light in a dark world and people are attracted to His light! Shine on brilliantly for Him!

Please copy this blog post or the link to this page to extend this verse to friends and family. Ask if they feel that they are generous to others. Ask how that makes them feel and how others act towards them. Share from your experiences as well. While we experience trials and temptations, we also benefit when we show a generous heart in caring for others. It is noticed. They thank God for you. So, Take Time For God’s Word© often each day and when you see someone being generous, then think of this verse as “112:05” and continue to do good to those around you. This Psalm describes the many good things that happen when you follow God’s commands and put Him first in your life. You may want to print this verse card and tape it where you see it often each day. We need reminders (at least I do). They refocus our attention on what’s REALLY important. We get distracted so easily…by the news… by the stock market… by advertisements… by traffic…and so much more. Taking a moment to think about God’s Word and His plans for us is a real ‘spiritual break’ that we need. Thank Him. Praise Him. Count your blessings. Look for ways to help others. It makes the day go much better when we focus on what’s going to last… into eternity!

We continue our prayers for all of the medical, dental, and vision personnel whether doctors, nurses, PA’s, technicians, etc. Each has spent extra years of study and preparation to help people with their physical needs. They make lives better and more comfortable when they care for our illnesses, injuries, or diseases. So many of them view this as their calling or path from God to care for others. We thank them. Let them know how much you appreciate their care. Be a blessing to them by letting them know of your gratitude. Pass it on to others generously in all that you say and do!
