Be redeemed from trouble…

107:02 Psalm “Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble” (ESV)

Rarely ever is the word SO an answer… all by itself. SO is usually a transition taking us from one idea to another… a better one. At the Bible Camp, the counselors would often yell out the statement, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so”… then, all the campers would yell back in their loudest voices, “SO!”. They were learning a verse and they didn’t even realize it. More importantly, they were being responsive to a most important life question. And they responded with a definitive answer. Would you do the same? Let others know that you have been redeemed from sin… you are set free… you are a child of God. Let the world know that you have received a great gift from God! SO!!

You can easily commend this verse to friends and everyone else that you know by sharing the link to this post and to this site. Ask if they have ever been helped out of trouble by someone else. Ask if they then ever told anyone about that story and about who saved them. Share with them that it was Jesus who came and rescued us from sin and death. We just want to share that great story with others… because it is ALL true. He can help them, too! Please Take Time For God’s Word© daily and as you hear about someone helping others, then think of this verse as “107:02” and say the word “SO”. Others may ask, “SO, what?” And that may be your opportunity to share briefly this verse and how Christ saved you out of trouble and pain. You can also explain that you are learning verses that correspond to times or to words/ phrases. It is a way to recall the grace of God often each day. Pass on a few other verses…”Rejoice always”…”Pray continually”…”Love one another, as I have loved you”….and others. Share His Word often.

Each month we recall those who have been victims of extreme weather issues…heat, rains, floods, tornados, fires, hurricanes, and more… and we pray for them. We do not always see God’s plans and purposes but we know that He will see us through. We have seen inspiring stories of hope and recovery even through these events. Help out wherever you can. Contact those who may have been impacted to encourage them. We are His hands and feet to share His love. Stay blessed always and in ALL WAYS! Pass it on to the redeemed and to those who still need to be redeemed… SO… they will know Him!!
