Always do what is right…right!

106:03 Psalm “Blessed are those who act justly, who always do what is right.” (NIV)

How often did your parents remind you “Be good”… as you were walking out the door. That’s good advice… but ‘act justly and do what is right’ is even better. It raises the bar for us. It sets up a standard which we ALL need to aspire to reach every day. To ‘act justly’ means that we evaluate our actions on what is good, fair, and proper. It means that we don’t misuse anything. It also means that we don’t look for who is right but what is right… and that takes some real insight and wisdom. That’s why it is often a life-long process to achieve this on a consistent basis. Yet, that is what we are called to… follow His actions and His plans for you!

You can route this verse to everyone that you know or even interact with in person or on social media. Ask if they believe that they ‘act justly’ on a regular basis. Ask if they have ever been challenged or berated for doing ‘what is right’. Listen carefully to their answers. Let them know any experiences that you have in this area. Remind them of the actions of Jesus and how it always did what was right. Please continue to Take Time For God’s Word© daily and as you see people doing ‘what is right’, then recall this verse as “106:03” and thank God for showing you the path to what is good and right. This may be a verse to set up with a Reminder on your phone for 6:03pm with the title,“PS 106:03 Blessed are those who act justly…” When it prompts you, it will be a brief moment to reflect on the decisions of the day and how you did in each case. With each review will come insights and resolve to help you grow in faith and in actions. We are called out to be different from the world. May they see this difference in you and give God the glory for it.

We continually lift up in prayer the many Christian led causes throughout the world and their daily impact into the lives of people. We again give thanks for the We Raise Foundation (Itasca, IL) and their focus on enabling and empowering Christian groups to startup and to get established. They do this through initial seed money, educational programs, mentoring, etc. What a blessing to have Christian leadership to become more effective in mission and ministries. Support them or others in your communities. Encourage those in such ministries. Be a blessing to them. Pass it on by acting justly and by doing what is right… for the cause of Christ. Well Done!
