Sing your praise to God…

104:33 Psalm “I will sing to the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.” (NIV)

Psalms has many verses about singing and singing praises to the Lord. Many of these Psalms are now hymns or contemporary Christian songs. They are sung in praise and worship services throughout the world. They have be translated to other languages. They have been adapted to many different musical styles and methods. Yet, through all of those interpretations and variations, the message is still the same. We are to sing praises to the Lord… now and until He comes again. Enjoy! Praise the Lord!

Please take a moment to route this verse to all of your friends, family, and co-workers in His kingdom. Ask if they have a favorite song or hymn that just pops into their mind at various times. Ask if they break into song with the chorus of that song… it is just that good and compelling to sing it. (Like, “It’s a small world” in Disney attractions… you sing that one for days…) Tell them about a favorite song that you like to sing. Share why it means so much to you. Send them the words to it so the can see why it is meaningful to you. Next, Take Time For God’s Word© often each day and as you hear a favorite song or melody, then recall this verse as “104:33” and sing praise to God with great joy. Set this as an Alarm on your phone for 4:33pm with the title of “PS 104:33 I will sing to the Lord…” and then list the title of a favorite hymn or Christian song. Do that for a week and then at 4:33pm you will remember to ‘sing to the Lord’ and that song will pop into your mind. It will be a brief moment of thanks and praise… it will give you a boost in mood and in attention. Try it. It does work. It does make a difference… in you!

We extend our prayers to all of the groups and organizations which provide shelters and services to the homeless women, men, and children in our communities. We lift up in prayer the Pacific Garden Mission (Chicago, IL) and their commitment to serve this group of people (‘the homeless and hurting’) for more than 140 years. What a blessing they have been. What a witness. What a gift of love they show day in and day out. Support them if you can. Help in your community whenever you can. We are blessed to be a blessing. Then pass it on with songs of praise and worship to God for ALL He has done!
