God has set the foundations firmly…

104:05 Psalm “He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved.” (NIV)

Foundations are important. They are the anchor or the rock upon which our buildings are built. Foundations in life are just as important. Those are the truths that we learn from the Bible and upon which our lives and our faith is being built. Our Earth has just the right speed and orbit, just the right rotation at just the proper angle 23.5 nearly degrees, with just the right atmosphere and climates and mix of land masses to support the lives of about 7.6 BILLION people and growing. It is a good thing that God built such a foundation for such growth. Trust Him as the foundation for you life!

Please plan to pass along this verse to family, friends and neighbors. Ask if they have helped to build a foundation for a home or building. Ask what was the most important thing they learned while laying out the foundation. Remind them of the firm foundation which God has made in this world and the foundations of our faith. You can give examples of how God has helped you to build upon that foundation. People want to know that it is good and practical advice. They need to hear it from real people… just like YOU! And then Take Time For God’s Word© daily as you pass any construction sites and see their foundations, then recall this verse as “104:05” and know that God has built a firm foundation to support your faith. You may want to print out this verse card and use it as a book mark in your Bible or in another book that you may be reading. That way when you see it, you will again be reminded of the firm foundation which God has laid here on earth AND the firm foundation which He has laid for all of us to be with Him in heaven. Be sure to give Him thanks and praise for ALL that He has done for you. He is awesome!!

Please add to your prayers today all of the soup kitchens and food banks or food pantries that are in and around your communities. Hunger doesn’t stop for a summer break. In fact, it often increases as school meal programs and breakfasts aren’t available to kids in the summer so their families depend on food banks to help supply food to fill the gaps in what they can afford for their families. So, be generous now and throughout the summer months. Drop off a few cans of food or boxes of cereal each week. You will be a blessing! You will be an answer to their prayers. Stay blessed always. Pass it on knowing that we build on His firm foundation!
