While ‘fake news’ seems to be the popular term being used often today, there have always been ‘fake religions’ that have come and gone through the centuries. The Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, Assyrians, Babylonians, and others all had their idols to represent their ideas of what a god should be or do. Our God created the universe and all that it contains. He gave up His son, Jesus, to die in our place. Many religions ask their followers to die for that god… only Christianity reveals that God’s son died for us… so that we could be with Him forever. That’s the Good News!
PLEASE continue to give this verse to all of your family, friends, and co-workers for His kingdom. Ask if they see idols around the worship centers of other religions. Ask if they even see idols in the cars of those who follow those religions. Let them know that our God took on human form. He lived with us. He died for us. He is coming again. Always Take Time For God’s Word© during each day you see any idols, then remember this verse as “96:05” and thank God that He is trustworthy and true. You can also associate this verse with ‘the heavens’. Whenever you see a spectacular sunrise or sunset, recall that ‘the Lord made the heavens’. OR, whenever you look up into the starry skies and see thousands upon thousands of stars, think that ‘the Lord made the heavens’. When we truly stop to view the wonders in our world, we can thank and praise God who is ‘the Lord (that) made the heavens’. WOW! And we get to enjoy it ALL!
`We end each monthly prayer cycle by lifting up in prayer that ONE person that we know who desperately needs to have Jesus as their Savior. It may be a family member, friend, colleague, or acquaintance. You know them. They have been on your heart for a long time. Name them in your prayers and seek God’s will in touching their heart and their life. Let them know that you do pray for them. Keep praying for them. Be persistent in prayer. Stay blessed in doing this. Pass it on to others KNOWING that our God made it ALL!
