Sing to the Lord…it’s Good News!

96:02 Psalm “Sing to the LORD; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.” (NLT)

Psalm 96 has been one of my favorites for many years. It is very upbeat. It is a progression of verses that share the beauty and bounty of the Lord. I will often recite the whole Psalm. It does my heart good to hear it again… and again. While we will not cover every verse, please make it a part of your Bible Study process to read and recall the whole Psalm. It will brighten your day. Praise His name.

Click ‘Like’ on this post and then click ‘Share’ to proclaim this verse to all your friends and contacts on social media and on your email lists. Ask what is the latest good news in their lives… graduations, weddings, family trips, etc. Ask how many people they have told about that good news. Share a moment in their joy. Then let them know about the great Good News of the Gospel. That Jesus took their sins to the cross. They are forgiven. They can start fresh and new in Him. AND, they can Take Time For God’s Word© often each day whenever a song comes to mind… then sing, then think of this verse as “96:02” and let the Good News bring you new joy each day. This may be a verse card to print… and to print many copies to share with others. It is easy to do. Just state that you have found a great verse that encourages you. Let them know that you want to encourage them. Give them a copy of the verse card. It may be seen by them often that day and they may even put it on their desk or night stand because you took the time to share the Good News. Keep sharing it… until He comes again!

Remember in your prayers today all of the judges and staff who are part of our legal system at all levels. These women and men are dedicated to uphold the laws and policies which make our nation strong and free. They provide their best insights to the many cases that come before them each week. Thank them. Support them. Let them know that you pray for them. Bring them some Good News, too. Stay blessed in all that you do and say. Pass it on with songs of praise and with the Good News message.
