Choose to live an abundant life!

89:47 Psalm “Remember how short my life is, how empty and futile this human existence!” (NLT)

This verse is a plea for God to again show favor to King David and his line of succession. It shows that even kings can know that no amount of riches or fame can create a fulfilling life without God being at the center of it. That’s the reminder to us… we need to enjoy each new day as a gift from God and to use it wisely in service to others around us. Without it, our lives could well be described as ‘how empty and futile this human existence’. Don’t miss out on a single blessing that He has planned for you. All you need to do is ask… and then follow His Word to guide you. If you haven’t learned John 10:10, now is a great time to add it to your memory banks… “…I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (KJB)

PLEASE pass along this verse to your friends and family anywhere…and everywhere. Ask if they feel that time is passing faster as they get older. Ask what they do to make the most out of every day. Consider their answers and then share from your experiences. Let them know that we are meant to live life abundantly. We are to take His blessings and make the most of them to help those around us. Continue to Take Time For God’s Word© throughout each day as you see others who seem down or depressed, then think about this verse as “89:47” and offer to help them if that is possible. This verse is clearly beyond the ‘time’ representation of verse numbers. Yet, it is an accurate statement about how many people view their lives. They know they are missing something… but they just don’t know what or where to look. That is why we need to be ready to share the Good News at any time. You will be amazed at the opportunities that God will send your way if you will just be willing to help them to know God and to accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. Now that is exciting! Be ready for it. Be glad that He can work through people like you and me!

Please continue to lift up in your prayers all of the adoption organizations and services around the country. We continue to name Evangelical Child and Family Agency (ECFA) (Wheaton, IL) as a great blessing to the northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin regions. We have been greatly blessed by them in our own family and we know of many others who have been touched by them. Continue to raise the message of how important adoption is. Continue to support those adoptive families and those who have chosen to give up a child to adoption. What a great blessing for those children to be in loving families. Stay blessed in ALL that you do. Pass it on knowing that our lives here are short but that we are passing through to our home in heaven.
