Don’t miss out on His joy!

86:04 Psalm “Bring joy to your servant, Lord, for I put my trust in you.” (NIV)

There is an old Bible camp song that describes the ‘joy of the Lord is my strength’. When you know that joy deep inside then you KNOW that all is well with you because you are His. As you trust in Him more, the joy will increase. Some may ask what is different about you and you can talk about the joy-of-the-Lord. Seek Him and abide in His joy each day… forever!

Ask if that joy lasts a long time or if it is somewhat fleeting. Listen to their answers. Then, share with them the joy that comes from knowing Jesus as Savior. It is a joy that others need… so tell them about Him. Please Take Time For God’s Word© each day and as you think about joy in your life, then recall this verse as “86:04” and know that He will give you even greater joy. You may want to set this as an Alarm on your phone at 6:04pm on a specific day of the week. Give it a title like, “86:04 Psalm Bring joy to your servant…” When it rings, take a moment to recall the verse but more importantly, to think about all of the times of joy that He gives you. We so often focus on the problems and irritants in life that we then miss out on the great periods of pure joy. Don’t miss them. Enjoy them. Share them. Appreciate them. That is what He wants for you… a life filled with His joy!

We ask your prayers for all of the physicians, doctors, dentists, PA’s, lab technicians, etc. that are in the various offices and medical practices. We depend on them to help us to stay well OR to help us when we are sick or injured. They do that with great skill and compassion. Let them know that you appreciate them. Let them know that you pray for them. They need to hear that. Be that kind of blessing to them. Pass it on to others with joy in your heart each day.
