Are you accepting His harvest of blessings?

85:12 Psalm “The LORD will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest.” (NIV)

Some of us grew up in small towns with farming communities surrounding us. We watched the crops being planted and saw them grow up before our eyes…always waiting for the harvest. When the time came, they worked long and hard to bring in the harvest of crops. We have a harvest as well. It is a harvest of blessings which God has given and continues to give to us. If we do not take advantage of His gifts, we will lose out. Don’t miss a single blessing. Then do good… only if you can’t do GREAT at sharing them with others.

Please extend this verse to everyone on your social media and on your email lists by sending along the link to this post. Ask them if they grew up on a farm or visited one. Ask them if they ever saw fields ripe and ready for harvest. Then share how Jesus talked about the harvest and the need for workers to help with the harvest. He was talking about all those who had not yet accepted Him as Savior. That harvest is still there. Always Take Time For God’s Word© during the day and evening and as you pass by fields of crops, then recall this verse as “85:12” and thank God for all of the good He gives and the harvest of blessings we receive. I am a fan of setting Reminders on my phone (so I don’t forget something important). You could set this at 5:12pm with the title “85:12 Psalm The Lord will indeed give what is good…” Or, you could copy and paste in the whole verse just in case you don’t recall it all yet. Then, pause just a moment, near the end of a day, and think of all of the good that you have received from God. It will give you ‘an-attitude-of-gratitude’. That’s a great thing to have!

Our prayers reach out to all of the hospice facilities and the Alzheimer’s care units around our country. Those that I have seen are excellent places to care for those with special or terminal needs. They are prepared to give peace and comfort to those that need constant or intensive care. If you have a loved one in such a facility, our prayers are with you also. We know the pain and sense of helplessness that you may feel. It is hard to see a loved one in such a place. Yet, we know that God still has a plan… and it is for ultimate good. Trust His plan. Seek His will. Live with His peace that passes all understanding. Stay blessed. Pass it on from your harvest of blessings.
