Do you live a life of integrity?

78:72 Psalm “And David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them.” (NIV)

What kind of leader are you? Many would argue that they aren’t leaders… I would beg to differ with that assessment. You may not have a title or position to lead BUT you can still lead others to know Jesus. That is the most critical leadership role that exists. Your life of integrity sets an example that others want to follow… that’s leadership. Your acts of kindness and service becomes the model of real living that friends and family want to emulate… that’s leadership. So, lead from the heart and use skillful hands to pass on His love to those who are watching and waiting for your leadership!

Please route this verse to your family, friends, and neighbors. Ask if they feel that they have a leadership responsibility. Ask how they demonstrate leadership to those around them each day. Share with them the love of Jesus and let them know just how loved they are by God. It is Good News that never grows old. People still need to hear it. Please Take Time For God’s Word© each day as you show leadership or see it in others, then think of this verse as “78:72” and thank God for those leadership opportunities that He gives to you. People are watching you. They want to see how you handle difficult situations or disappointments. They will follow you if you live with integrity and if you share His love and grace in all that you do. AND, integrity needs to be there when no one is watching… only God. We need it to be at our core… to honor Him!

We pray for all of the women and men who selflessly serve in our police, fire fighters, and emergency personnel services. I went to the opening of a new fire station recently. The community wanted to be sure that they had the facilities which support the people who serve their residents. They viewed it as critical to support these people in doing their jobs. They perform those jobs very well… even at the risk of their own lives. So, THANK THEM. Support them. Let them know how important they are to you and to your community. Be that kind of blessing to them. Pass it on with integrity in your heart and with skillful hands to help others in need.
