Let God be the strength of your heart!

73:26 Psalm “My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.” (NLT)

When we are together with friends, we talk about milestones…50th anniversaries… 50th class reunions… retirement…BUT it seems we also talk about problems with our health and failings in our body or mind. We are getting older. It is starting to show. We are feeling it more and more each day. Some days MORE than others. Yet, in it all, we mostly talk about our blessings… family… friends… church… fellowship groups… new songs…and His never ending love for us. That’s what keeps us going… that He is in our hearts now… and forever more! Share that great blessing every day!

Please provide this verse to all of your friends on social media and on your email list. Ask what one sign or issue reminds them that they are aging. Ask what they are doing to offset that and how it makes them feel to be growing old(er). Let them know about the great love of God for use through all stages of our lives. He was there at the beginning and He will see us through to the end… and beyond. Remember to Take Time For God’s Word© each day you see another sign of aging, then bring to mind this verse as “73:26” and praise God for all the years He has given to you. We tend to talk about the things that are most important to us… and as we grow older, we talk about our health or our health issues. We spend countless hours in doctors waiting rooms… waiting for lab tests… waiting for medical procedures… waiting for healing… and waiting upon the Lord to be with us in all of these events. Be a friend to others who are going through their own medical challenges. Remember each other in prayer. Be of good cheer… He is yours forever!

Remember to pray for all of our government leaders and elected officials at all levels of government. Pray that they will seek the good of the nation and its people. Pray that they act in ways which bring honor to their role and pride in our country. Reach out to them. Let them know that you pray for them. Share your thoughts and ideas about what needs to change or improve in our country. Be active in making this a better place for all people. Be that blessing. Pass it on with His strength when ours begins to fail…He never fails!
