Things were good…until they weren’t!

69:17 Psalm “Don’t hide from your servant; answer me quickly, for I am in deep trouble!” (NLT)

King David knew victory and honor…AND he knew disgrace and being hunted. His emotions covered a wide range of feelings and he expressed those in the various Psalms. If he felt far from God, he knew it was he who had fallen away. He knew God was there… faithful… trustworthy… loving… forgiving. God is still there in the same way for each of us. We each have needs… sometimes urgent needs that require God’s hand of care to intervene for us. We need it now. Keep the faith… trust Him… know that He loves you. Then stay close to His Word and follow His plan for your life.

You can forward our verse to all of your family, friends, and co-workers in His kingdom. Ask if they have ever been in deep trouble and ask what they did to get out of it. Ask what they needed most and who they called to get the help they needed. Tell them that God is always there for them. They can call on Him. He will show them the way. Always Take Time For God’s Word© throughout your day or whenever you are in trouble (which may be often), then remember this verse as “69:17” and know that God is with you always. Here is a verse which would be good to print out and to put by a mirror or on a night stand. It reminds us that we do mess up… we do make mistakes… we do need forgiveness… A LOT! It reminds us to pray. It reminds us to praise. It reminds us to thank God for ALL that He does for us. It is a great relief to know that the God of the universe knows and cares for YOU!!

Our prayers go out to all of the teachers, aides, social workers, etc. who work in and across the various levels of schools in our country. There are thousands upon thousands of individuals who care deeply and passionately about the education and preparation of our kids and grandkids for a changing and challenging world. They spend untold hours in preparations and grading to assure the best experience for their students. If you are (or have been) a teacher, THANK YOU!!!! I am sure that your students and their parents don’t say that often enough for all that you do! You are a blessing to so many others. Keep it up! Know that you make a difference for good! Stay blessed. Pass it on with an encouraging word and a kind smile every day!
