Rejoice and be filled with joy!

68:03 Psalm “But let the godly rejoice. Let them be glad in God’s presence. Let them be filled with joy.” (NLT)

We need LOTS of reminders. I know that I do. We even need to be reminded to be joyful. You would think that would be obvious to us by now. Yet, even with ALL that God has given to us… ALL that Christ as done for us… ALL that He has planned for us, we forget to rejoice. We get caught up in the troubles and cares of this world and we miss the chances we have to rejoice and be glad. We seem judgmental, cautious, reactionary, aloof, hyper-critical (and even hypocritical). Why do we do that? Be reminded today… and every day to “rejoice…be glad…be filled with joy”… and let it show to the glory of God! It is OK… be joyful!

Please give this verse to friends and family who need a reminder. Ask if they have anything to rejoice about today. Ask if they feel that they should be joyful every day. Let them know about ALL that God provides for us. Share with them the things that you are joyful for each day. Help them to be more rejoicing in all that they do and share that joy with others. Let His love show in your actions each day. Remember to Take Time For God’s Word© daily as you feel glad about His love, then think of this verse as “68:03” and let joy fill you to overflowing. If you need to be reminded to be “joyful”, then print out this verse card (several copies) and tape them up or pin them up in several places around the house or at your work. When you see someone smile, let that be a trigger for you to know joy…gladness…and to rejoice in the Lord. We need to smile A LOT more… because we have the most to smile about! Let it show. Let it show so much that people will ask, ‘Why are you so happy?’… and then you can tell them. After all, there is plenty of His joy and peace to go around. Share it widely!

Please offer up your prayers for all of the doctors, nurses, lab technicians, etc. across all of the various medical offices and clinics around the world. They use their skills to help the sick and those in great physical need. Many also use the power of prayer to help them to meet all of the needs of their patients. Many donate time and talents in mission projects or free clinics… wherever there is a need. Let them know how much you appreciate them. Commend them if they are also giving their support in other mission activities. Be a blessing to them. Pass it on with rejoicing and great joy as you share the Good News with others!
