Do your prayers get answered?

65:02 Psalm “You who answer prayer, to you all people will come.” (NIV)

As I have grown older, my prayers have changed… or maybe my prayers have changed me. They are much simpler now. They are much more direct. They are mostly for others and that God will bless and keep them. They are not about stuff. I have lots of stuff. I am glad when I can give some of it away. My prayers offer much more thanks and praise. I now have a heart that appreciates ALL that God has done in my life so far. I am ready for what He has planned next in my life. I know it will be good. How about you? Are you growing in your prayer life? Are you more aware of His blessings given to you? Start today. May you grow deeper in your prayers and may others know that you are praying for them. They will want to know more… so then you can share the Good News with them!

PLEASE send along this verse to family, friends, and neighbors. Ask if they are waiting for an answer to any prayers that they have offered up to God. Ask what they want the answer to be and how they will respond if it is something different. Remind them that God’s answers can sometimes be very different than what we may expect. Assure them that God’s plans are for our ultimate good. Encourage them to Take Time For God’s Word© throughout their day as they take time to pray, then remember this verse as “65:02” and know that God answers prayers and draws others to Himself. We pray that you had a great Easter celebration in your church, fellowship group, or with family and friends. We definitely did. Same story each year but the excitement of knowing that the tomb was empty and that Jesus lives just never gets to be old or tired or routine. It is the great Good News! It is the story we love to tell. It is the story that our world needs to hear. It is the story that people need to take to heart each day. So, let each new day be a mini-Easter celebration as we are reminded that He is risen… He is risen indeed! Alleluia!

Continue to pray for all of the pastors, ministers, and lay leaders within our churches and fellowship groups. Many have been holding extra Lenten services, Holy Week services, and multiple Easter Sunday services. They have been putting in all their efforts to help get people to hear the Good News on Easter. Thank them. Support them. Let them know how much you appreciate their efforts. Offer to volunteer to help in areas that need it (and there are ALWAYS areas that need it). It is way more fun when you are an active part of the family of faith. You get to be an answer to prayers just because of who God made you to be. Share that with others. Pass it on KNOWING that answers to prayers are on the way… even before you know to ask for them. Trust God’s timing!!
