Self assessments can be painful. If we are totally honest, we recognize just how far we are from being good and from doing what is right. That’s what we are… far from God if we try on our own. Yet, we KNOW that He even provided for us a Savior who did it ALL for us. God requires ONLY that we trust in Jesus. If we claim Jesus, then ALL of what we were is washed clean and we are now His own. It is the greatest story ever told… and it gets even better as we know that we are His… forever!
Please copy this blog to pass along this verse to friends on social media and on your email list. Ask if they have ever heard this verse before. Ask them who would be the most saintly person that they know. Listen to their response. Share with them the fact that ALL have sinned. We ALL have failed. Yet, God gives us the only solution through the love of Jesus. It is a free gift. We only need to accept Him as Savior and as Friend. Then Take Time For God’s Word© daily as you see bad things all around you, then recall this verse as ’53:03’, and be grateful for our salvation through Christ. This verse helps to keep us humble. It tells it like it is if we were to reject the love of Christ. We would be lost without Him. That is exactly where most people are… lost without the redeeming love of Christ. So, print out this verse card. Keep it in your pocket or purse. Let it remind and motivate you to share the Good News with others. Help the lost to be found through the grace of God and through the love of Christ. Do this to help others to know Jesus. They will be eternally grateful that you did!!
Pray for all of the youth music programs at your church or fellowship group. It may be a children’s choir, youth singing group, handbell choir, or others. These are great ways to keep kids involved within the church. The songs help to state our faith. Their melodies stick with you. These songs send a message. It is a message that we need in our homes, schools, places of work, etc. Help support those who lead these programs. Encourage them and let them know that you pray for them. You ARE a blessing… keep it up. Pass it on to all that you meet so that they see Christ working in and through you.
