Don’t be fooled by those around you!

53:01 Psalm “The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good.” (NIV)

There was a story about a man complaining to a judge that Christians have holidays but there is no holiday for atheists. The judge corrected him by saying that April 1 is set aside for atheists and then the judge quoted this verse. Cute story. Yet, we do still find many fools telling people MANY ways to try to get to heaven or that there is no heaven. They sound compelling. They speak passionately. They look appealing. AND, we know that they are wrong. They are fooling themselves and others. Let us speak clearly what God has said. Let us point them to the cross and the sacrifice made for us by Christ. Let us pray with them and for them that they may find The Way…The Truth…The Life. Don’t be fooled… speak up for truth.

Please send this verse to your friends, family, and neighbors. Ask them who they feel speaks loudest about foolish things today. Ask them if they feel their message is compelling and why. Remind them about ALL of the promises made by God and ALL of those which He has made true. God cannot lie. What He says, He will do for you. Remember to Take Time For God’s Word© often each day as you see fools around you, then remember this verse as ’53:01’, and stay clear of foolish teachings and actions. It is good to know this verse. Make this an Alarm on your phone set for 3:01pm with a title of ‘Psalm 53:01 The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” ‘ It should keep you alert. It should help you to stay focused. It should allow you to ignore and reject false statements quickly. AND… it should help you to see a world that still is searching for meaning and hope. The will not find it anywhere except from the hand of God… reaching out to them. Let your light shine for Him. Let them see what God can do in and through you! Be that blessing!!

Continue to pray for all of the youth ministries and missions which are gearing up for their summer programs. These are great opportunities for youth to put their faith into action. These are programs which allow them to witness to others and to share their faith openly. These are activities which help those in need and which give our youth the chance to feel what it is like to live a life of service. The kids are excited. We are excited for them. Support them wherever you can. Encourage them to participate AND to invite their friends along. It may be a life-changing experience for all of them. Stay blessed in ALL that you do. Pass it on by knowing the truth of the Good News and by sharing it with those in need.
