Do you have broken spirit?

51:17 Psalm “The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.” (NLT)

Repentance can be a challenge for most of us. It requires that we admit that we were wrong. It requires that we confess to the failures in our actions. It means we even reveal our deepest thoughts and desires. It means that we divulge who we really are. That can be scary. We don’t want anyone to know who we really are. Yet, it is when we hit rock bottom in our confessions that God can then build us back up with His love, forgiveness, and grace. He can mend a broken heart. He can give you a heart of gladness and rejoicing. He can make the turnaround in your life. Be truly repentant today.

Please pass on this verse to family, friends and neighbors as you share this link with them. Ask them if the ever needed to confess or repent from a failure in their lives. Ask how they felt and how they moved on from that point. It can be painful for them to reveal that. Listen carefully. Be respectful. Pray with them and for them. Share with them the great forgiveness found only in Jesus. Always Take Time For God’s Word© as you confront sin knocking at your door, then be mindful of this verse as ’51:17’, and bring your repentant heart to God. This may be a verse that you print out as a verse card. You can put it in your pocket or purse. As you take out your money or credit cards, you will see this verse. It is a good reminder throughout your day. We too often fail to confess our sins. We fail to confront our short-comings. We fail to admit the wrongs that we have done. Let the love of Christ free you from ALL of those mistakes and failures. Life is SO MUCH BETTER when we live as forgiven children of God. Let that be your experience each and every day. Live freely in His love!

Please pray for the organizations and groups which are focused on helping the refugees around the world. There are millions of people who are displaced from homes and countries due to political or humanitarian crises in their countries. They seek freedom. They seek safety. They seek a better life for their families. They need help and support. We pray for Exodus World Services (Park Ridge, IL) for their focus and efforts to connect these families with churches who can help them through the transition to a new life in the USA. It takes loving people to help these families to again be restored and ready to start their new life away from fear. Be that blessing. Help where you can. Stay blessed in all ways. Pass it on by showing a repentant heart and a willing spirit to follow His plans for you! You will be blessed in all that you do!
